The 'nitty-gritty' - this series of Saturday afternoon sessions includes hands-on gardening combined with theory, and is ideal for beginners, or for those with experience who would like to learn more about organic gardening techniques. Each week covers an essential topic, from how to make a start on your new allotment, through to problem-busting on an established plot. All of your questions answered! Participants can earn a Garden Organic certificate at the end of the course.

Session 4: Unusual crops

Learn how to grow a range of crops traditionally grown in other countries, which will thrive in our climate. Many of these are surprisingly easy to raise despite their exotic appearance.
