Garden Organic is working in partnership with the Daylesford Foundation to present organic gardening workshops for teachers and school professionals.
“We are delighted to be able to use such a fantastic venue to inspire and educate people. The more teachers we can engage in growing the more skills will be passed on to the youngsters they work with. We want people to have the confidence to give growing a try. ”
Head of Education Colette Bond
This training event will be a practical, one day course based in the Kitchen Garden at the Daylesford Organic Farmshop, Daylesford, Gloucestershire. Teachers will get some ideas on where to start with an organic school garden and with lots of things to do with their pupils back at school. The day will include practical sessions and time outdoors. With the kind support of the Daylesford Foundation, the course is free of charge and includes lunch.

Daylesford Organic:
Over twenty years ago, the Bamford’s began to turn their family land in the Cotswolds and Staffordshire over to sustainable, organic farming. It was the start of a passion to grow crops naturally, and rear healthy animals, for local people; and to feed our children better.
