Gardens open to help raise funds for Garden Organic in 2010

Garden open to the public

Many people often kindly open their gardens for others to visit, for charity.

The following list of gardens, are kindly opening on behalf of Garden Organic to help raise essential funds for our work. The gardens will show you a wide variety of styles, sizes, and content – but above all, they will share one thing in common – the organic approach.

Visit these gardens and people will be as delighted to show you their compost system and pest control, as they will the ‘finished product’. You’ll also find enthusiasm, a warm welcome and a willingness to share what they have learned.

This year gardens are opening at different times, some just once and some several times across the season. Please do give them your support by visiting one or more this year.

Many of the gardens charge either a small nominal admission fee or suggest a donation. Please do give generously if you can. You will not only be helping to support our work, but also showing your appreciation for all the effort and hard work put in by everyone who opens and shares their private gardens for us. Many may also offer refreshments, plants and produce for sale to help with their fundraising efforts - please do take the time to sample these too during your visit.
