A garden of over 2 acres with woodland, wildflower meadow, allotment, orchard, pond, flower garden, all managed organically.
The garden is at its best from May to July. Access via a field and vehicles no larger than a minibus.
Heather Williams and Julian French would be very happy for interested groups (4+) to visit at pre-booked times.
Rates are £3 per person, £4 if including tea and biscuits, and there are plants for sale.
The two acre garden of The Gate House, Lee situated in a beautiful wooded valley on the North Devon coast is open for visitors under The National Garden Scheme most days from May 1st through to September.
There is a special welcome for Garden Organic members as no chemicals are used on the garden and, as far as possible, it is cultivated on permaculture principles.

The Seed Festival takes place at Hawkwood, near Stroud in Gloucestershire from 17th-19th July, it's a weekend packed full of Musicians, Poets, Artists, Inspiring Eco Speakers, Movers and Shakers including Neil Munro, Manager of our Heritage Seed Library (HSL) who'll be talking about the history of the HSL and seed stories. The Seed Festival inspires a more intimate and personal connection with our living world and our place within it. This year's theme is Placing Art at the Heart of Ecology.

Not a building course but rather advice on the component parts and the biology of a compost loo system and the kit required to make one. This course will be delivered by the Centre for Alternative Technologies [CAT.](This course will be delivered by the Centre for Alternative Technologies CAT). Students will still need to build effectively a shed around the outside for it to be complete but that’s the more straight forward part of the skills required to make a compost loo.
Garden Organic's Exotic crops – the next generation - a practical course in growing multicultural food is now open for applications.
Over the last 50 years our culinary horizons have expanded massively and it's now commonplace for us to eat food from a wide range of cultures. However, our ability to grow this food has not kept pace with our demand for consumption.
Mr Peter Woollam has kindly offered to open his garden again in support of Garden Organic.
The garden is open at Hough Lane, Alderley Edge from 12 noon - 5pm on Saturday and Sunday 1st and 2nd August and the entry fee is £2.

This family group workshop will provide you with the opportunity to be creative with clay. No previous experience necessary – all ages welcome! Be inspired by totem poles, create your family characters out of clay and have fun learning the skills of ceramics. You will be able to experiment with colour and decoration to craft your own family creation to live in your garden. At least one adult is required in each family group.

Explore the alternative methods to traditional composting techniques. The course will cover a range of systems for composting food waste and other garden waste such as weeds which need hot temperatures.
