Join North London Organic Gardeners at their April meeting - Making plant labels and taking cuttings. A garden of over 2 acres with woodland, wildflower meadow, allotment, orchard, pond, flower garden, all managed organically.
The garden is at its best from May to July. Access via a field and vehicles no larger than a minibus.
Heather Williams and Julian French would be very happy for interested groups (4+) to visit at pre-booked times.
Rates are £3 per person, £4 if including tea and biscuits, and there are plants for sale.
The two acre garden of The Gate House, Lee situated in a beautiful wooded valley on the North Devon coast is open for visitors under The National Garden Scheme most days from May 1st through to September.
There is a special welcome for Garden Organic members as no chemicals are used on the garden and, as far as possible, it is cultivated on permaculture principles.

Learn how to make a variety of different plant supports from willow. Participants will be able to make and take home a wigwam on the day, suitable for sweet peas and other climbing plants. This course is for a beginner/intermediate level.
Spring is here, so dig your hands into clay, release the seeds of creativity, and cultivate your very own pottery inspired by nature.
Come and learn the skills of clay work, experiment with techniques, shapes, decoration, and colour, to build your own forms. Guided by Lesley-Ann French, a local Ceramic Artist and Tutor, you will be able to create unique pots and plaques which will be fired so that they can live inside or out.
Amid increasing pressures on the natural landscape, our gardens have become vital to wildlife. 22nd May 2015 is International Biodiversity Day and during the session, we will look at what the gardener can do to create a healthy haven for wildlife. This course is for a beginner/intermediate level.
Caroline Fernandez will very kindly be opening her garden to the public on Sunday 24th May from 10.30 until 4pm. This open garden will be part of the Strumpshaw Open Gardens.
There will be several other gardens open in the village and a flower festival in the church. The whole event is raising money for the church roof but, as a member, Caroline will have a separate donation tin for Garden Organic. The garden uses organic methods and is at 17 Chapel Road, Strumpshaw, Norwich NR13 4PA.
A conference for healthcare professionals by Hammersmith Community Gardens Association and Growing Health supported by The Federation of City Farms and Community Gardens.
Programme includes information and advice from practitioners and case studies of therapeutic gardening projects. There will be a tour of the farm and hands on activities from 11am -12.30pm followed by lunch 12.30pm -1.30pm.

Yvonne and Steven Lucas will be opening their garden again this year at Greenways, 24 Roman Road, Worting, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG23 8ER.
Their garden is open between 1pm and 5pm on Sunday, 7th June 2015.
At this organic garden you will see fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers being grown as well as there being ponds, hens, bees, and rainwater harvesting.
And solar panels where you can see how only £50.00 of electricity is used!
