Clubroot

Clubroot, Plasmodiophora brassicae, is a serious and widespread disease of brassica plants e.g. cabbage, cauliflower, Chinese cabbage, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, kale, kohl rabi, swedes and turnips. Clubroot is one of the most problematic diseases that gardeners have to deal with. It is very difficult to control and, once present in the soil, virtually impossible to eradicate.
