Hanging Basket Liners
Hanging baskets have traditionally been lined with moss. This material is aesthetically pleasing and easy to use. Unfortunately there are no environmental controls in the collection of sphagmum moss for hanging baskets. Hillsides and peat bogs are being scraped clean in order to fulfil present demand. Fortunately, liners made from alternative, often recycled, materials are now available to buy - or you can make your own. They vary in ease of use, material and colour.
