Know your soil
A soil in good heart will provide a nutritious medium in which your plants can grow and develop healthily. In organic gardening a healthy soil is generally reckoned to be one that shows high levels of biological activity, is well structured and free draining. This factsheet explains how to get to know your soil, look after it and improve it so that your plants will flourish.
