Garden Organic Ryton
Coventry
Warkwickshire
CV8 3LG

Garden Organic Ryton is an internationally famous tourist attraction as well as being the site of our headquarters. Ten acres of display gardens are managed entirely organically and all aspects of domestic horticulture are on show, including composting, pest and disease control, fruit and vegetable production, herbs, roses, lawns, shrubberies and herbaceous plantings.

A large conservation area includes native trees, a wildflower meadow and lake, and wildflowers are also much in evidence as part of the landscaping and in a backgarden setting in our RSPB Wildlife Garden. Other interesting features include the Paradise Garden (a memorial to Geoff Hamilton), a bee garden, living willow structures and, newly opened in 2003, The Vegetable Kingdom visitor's centre.

Audley End Organic Kitchen Garden
The vinehouse at Audley End Organic Kitchen Garden
Audley End Organic Kitchen Garden
Saffron Walden
Essex
CB11 4JG

Garden Organic manages this site in association with the owners English Heritage. The large walled Organic Kitchen Garden is located within the considerable grounds of what remains of the original Audley End estate and still supplies the house with produce. Restored to how it might have looked in the last half of the 19th century, it is one of very few working restorations of walled gardens in the UK. The original walls are largely still intact and date from the mid 18th century.

The Vine House was built in 1804 and contains grapes planted in 1917 or possibly earlier. The dominant style of the estate was set by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown towards the end of the 18th century. Later additions include a restored Victorian parterre at the rear of the house. Principal features are Robert Adams' neoclassical bridge, The Temple of Concord, the entrance gateway and a fine Jacobean coach house.

There is an English Heritage shop selling plants, fruit and vegetables from the Organic Kitchen Garden as well as other products and gifts. Pre-booked coach parties welcome - phone (01799) 522842 for details
