Join us at RHS Malvern Spring Festival - 11th - 14th May

We are heading to this year’s RHS Malvern Spring Festival to showcase our very own edible bed featuring varieties of rare lettuce from our Heritage Seed Library as part of the shows exciting new feature this year, the Grow Zone.

The Grow Zone is a horticultural experience by RHS Gold Medal winning gardener Jon Wheatley. Grow takes inspiration from interactive country gardens and wildflower borders, showcasing a variety of edible beds. We will be showcasing our Heritage Seed library varieties of lettuce as part of The Edible Beds Area, curated by RHS medal winner and RHS Malvern Spring Festival Ambassador, Hannah Genders. The Edible beds Area will feature a collection of raised beds, planted with edible plants seeking to demonstrate the ease of growing your own.

The Grow Zone will be hosting other exciting features including a Grow Tipi, where leading figures in the gardening world such as Carol Klein and Jekka McVicar will be on hand for a Q&A session. Our very own Head of Organic Horticulture, Chris Collins will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding our Edible Bed.

The Grow Zone is the place to go if you want to pick up some terrific gardening tips but also to enjoy what promises to be a great family day out. With features like the Edible Beds, the Grow Zone is a fantastic opportunity for adults and children alike to learn how satisfying it can be to grow food.

RHS Malvern Spring Festival 2017 will take place from Thursday 11 May until Sunday 14 May. Adult tickets start from £18 in advance while children (under 16) are free of charge.
