Myles Bremner talks urban growing at Hay Festival
Posted Friday 1st June 2012The rise in urban growing will be the topic of conversation when Garden Organic’s Chief Executive, Myles Bremner joins writer and urban grower, Tom Moggach and Chair of London Food Board, Rosie Boycott, at the Hay on Earth stage at this weekend’s Hay Festival.
The three speakers, each of which have played a significant role in promoting and enabling the urban food growing boom, will look at what the rise of growing on apartment windowsills, roof-top allotments, city beehives and tower block hectares tell us about modern Britain.
