The Food for Life Partnership
The Food for Life Partnership is a network of schools and communities across England committed to transforming food culture.
Led by the Soil Association, the Food for Life Partnership brings together the practical expertise of Garden Organic, The Focus on Food Campaign and The Health Education Trust. The Food for Life Partnership website can be found at www.foodforlife.org.uk
As part of the Partnership, Garden Organic is responsible for getting schools and their communities to set up sustainable food growing gardens. We deliver training, offer advice and encourage the whole school community to participate in the project. We want fresh, seasonal produce that has been grown using organic methods in or near the school grounds to be used for cooking sessions and in school meals.
