To answer your question, a major inter-disciplinary study was conducted on the Prince of Wales's Duchy Home Farm by the Government's three research councils - Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), Natural Environment Research Council (NERC).
    Includes gross margins and environmental data comparing organic and non-organic farming and talks of social benefits of organic farming.

  6. HDRA has done some research on the development of the organic veg market. If you look in the research section of this website and the Organic Vegetable Market Study there are some interesting reports.
