Soil type/aspect: soil type Cotswold Brash Grade III/IV, fields are rolling
Basic rotation: 3 year red clover/grass ley, winter wheat, stubble turnips, spring beans, winter wheat, spring barley u/s with ley
Enterprises: main enterprises now are beef (250 suckler cows and all progeny kept to 2-2.5 years), sheep (700 breeding ewes, 200 replacements), wheat and beans
Prior land use: conventional arable with permanent grassland
Weeding equipment: 7 furrow reversible Karvenland plough, 12 m Einbok harrow, spring tines, 6 m Bomford rear mounted topper
Business: 8 full time staff
Marketing: Will market fattened meat, pedigree Angus, pedigree Llyn through OLMC and will be selling pedigree ewes and heifers. Hereward milling wheat will go through OAMC
