Basic rotation: has 10 ha (25 ac) of cereal and 31 ha (77 ac) of grass leys. Rotation is 4 years white clover/grass mix ley, wheat, oats. Has a red clover/grass mix in one field
Enterprises: fattening stock cattle (80-90) and cereal production
Prior land use: conventional arable and grassland
Weeding equipment: mower and a spade for weed control. Will get contractors in to harrow in cereals if needed
Business: has 1 farm manger 2/3 days a week, occasional help from kids to move cattle and some contractor work
Marketing: cattle are sold to Organic Livestock Marketing and wheat has gone to Bridgewater Mill
