Farm type: mixed (cereal)

Soil type/aspect: Cotswold Brash with outcrops of Evesham series clay. Predominant slope is N to S some E to W.
Basic rotation: 2 years grass clover ley (Eusige white clover mix, yellow trefoil and perennial grasses), 2 years cereals spring or winter wheat then barley. Occasionally third cereal crop, which would be winter barley after winter wheat.
Enterprises: main enterprises are cereals (150 ha, 371 ac) and livestock (112 animals
Prior land use: conventional mixed system.
Weeding equipment: has 6m Einbok harrow comb weeder. Toppers, spades and forks.
Business: one farm manager and 1 part time (70%) help self employed contractor.
Marketing: beef goes to supermarket, finding market for organic bulls and heifers. Cereals all sold have gone to Centaur Grain or hoping to go to new group Cotswold organic flour direct to miller.
