The Initiative on Organic Research
The Initiative on Organic Research (IOR) was launched in January 2001 by Garden Organic
and Elm Farm Research Centre (EFRC), the UK's premier organic research institutes
and only independent and solely organic research organisations.
IOR is a formal agreement between the research departments of the two institutes
and will ensure that the UK is provided with the highest quality research
and dissemination of results. IOR will also play a major role in setting the
UK research agenda, ensuring that research truly addresses the needs of the
sector.
