30th April 2008 - Washington (US) OKs herbicide for organic use
The Washington State Department of Agriculture has registered GreenMatch EX burndown herbicide from Marrone Organic Innovations Inc. of Davis, Calif., for use in organic food production.

15th July 2008 - FLAMING VS. HOEING
A multi-year trials program conducted under the aegis of Michigan State Univ. (MSU) compared the use of flaming against other non-chemical methods of weed management in organic crops.
