Organic Growers Alliance (OGA) membership launched
Following the launch of the OGA at Cirencester in December 2006, commercial growers and others who wish to support organic horticulture are invited to join.
The objectives of the Alliance are to bring growers together to promote common interests and to share and benefit from both individual and collective opportunities and experience.
It will work in conjunction with all other bodies active in the organic sector but will be able to provide a direct link between growers and those that influence the industry, e.g. certification bodies, policy makers, research organisations, the horticultural supply trade, and many others.
Farm walks, conferences and a journal are all planned, together with a website. Membership is based on an annual fee of
