Perennial Grass Weeds
These weeds are among the most troublesome for organic growers. Spread can be encouraged by inappropriate mechanical operations and plants are particularly resilient to control. They have a range of mechanisms for propagation; seeds, rhizomes, stolons. Management programmes focus on prevention of spread, cultivation and desiccation of roots.
