Volunteer weeds

Volunteer weeds are generally crop plants that are growing out of place or in subsequent crops. They obviously compete with the crop, can be a nusiance, but also, can provide a carry-over for pests and diseases. 1. After a recent hurricane we began a new garden. After planting a package of okra seeds, another strange plant began to grow...not sure from the hurricane or from the new package. The plant is similar to a squash plant, has a flower similar to the field pansy (white with a colored throat), has sticky leaves that resemble eggplant/squash leaves, and produces a fat okra shaped fruit/vegetation that has a very long curled end...??? Any idea what this might be?

  3. Lots have been said about Rape oil as replacement for diesel. Can it be commercially cultivated. Also, can it be grown in West Africa (ie is the climatic/land suitable for its cultivation)?
