11:45am to 1:00pm

Join us for a tour of our inspirational organic demonstration garden to learn how to cultivate your own thriving organic, sustainable growing space.

Work began on our new garden in early Spring 2020 with plans to open in the Summer, however, due to the pandemic development of the garden was delayed. We're delighted that we can now open our garden to members and visitors.

Our garden features several unique areas including a large glasshouse and polytunnel, a four-bed veg garden following a crop rotation, a no-dig system trial area, and a container garden space. The garden is bursting with ornamental plants and flowers and an array of seasonal fruits and vegetables including some more unusual varieties. A large proportion of our vegetables are varieties selected from the Heritage Seed Library - it really is a must-see for any gardener.

The tour will last approximately 45 minutes. Following the tour, there will be a Q&A with our Head Gardener, Emma O'Neill, and time for you to explore the garden.

Light refreshments will be available from 10am – 12.30pm. This session will come to a close after the Q&A.

We recommend wearing clothing and footwear suitable for the outdoors.
