This online talk will help you plan your year-round food growing activities, so you always remain productive. Anton Rosenfeld will provide you with a feast of examples including a tasty array of winter salads.

Session overview:

This informal online talk will ensure your never run out of fresh, homegrown vegetables. Anton will take you through the cropping calendar, giving you practical tips for the best things to plant all-year-long. Winter will focus on oriental salads leaves - so you never have to buy a bagged-salad again – and summer will include crops that extend the season. He’ll share his tricks for producing food during the hungry gap, a period of the year when there’s usually very slim pickings.

Research manager Anton has been with Garden Organic for more than 20 years. His work has included projects with commercial field-scale growers to small-scale community gardens and allotments. He has worked as a grower, run many training courses, and regularly writes for gardening magazines, including our own Organic Way members’ magazine. He has a passion for soils, composting and growing veg from a wide range of cultures.
