Growing Sea Buckthorn on the Essex Coast
The South East Essex Organic Gardeners welcome you for another of their fascinating presentations. This month they are joined by David Eagle who discusses how to grow Sea Buckthorn on the Essex coast.
David Eagle is Managing Director British Sea Buckthorn Company and is the fourth generation of the family to manage Devereux Farm. Listen as David shares his experience of the long-term threat of sea-level rise and how he searched for a crop that was fit for the future of the farm. Dr John French, from the University of East Anglia, introduced David to a shrub called Sea Buckthorn.
The East Essex Organic Gardeners would love for your to join them and welcome new faces.
