Norwich Quaker House, Lower Goat Lane, Norwich, NR2 1EW
Monday, 30 April 2018 -
7:30pm to 9:00pm

Join the Norfolk Organic Group for their short talk with Hannah Claxton of Eves Hill Veg Co, she will talk about "Building Fertility and Accessing it" - green manures and compost teas.

This talk will look at the use of plant based fertility building techniques within organic gardening systems and the simple to use and suitable for all gardens & farms. Green manures are increasingly being used where access to manure is difficult or insufficient, or within vegan growing systems. They also offer a wonderful opportunity to support the wider eco-system above and below ground.

Hannah will take us through how to use, what to use and when to use them and also introduce the idea of compost teas to boost soil biology, thereby activating plants abilities to take up nutrients.
