Open Garden & Tour - 23rd July 9.30am - 1pm
Come and visit our inspirational organic demonstration garden to learn how to cultivate your own thriving organic, sustainable growing space.
Our garden features several unique areas including a large glasshouse and polytunnel, a four-bed veg garden following a crop rotation, a no-dig system trial area, and a container garden space. The garden is bursting with ornamental plants and flowers and an array of seasonal fruits and vegetables including some more unusual varieties. A large proportion of our vegetables are varieties selected from the Heritage Seed Library - it really is a must-see for any gardener.
The garden will be open to pre-booked visitors between 9am–1pm allowing plenty of time for you to explore at your leisure. We advise that an average garden visit takes up to one hour. There will also be the opportunity to join a guided tour of the garden with one of our expert gardeners at 11am lasting approximately 45 minutes.
Light refreshments including tea and coffee will be available and we recommend wearing clothing and footwear suitable for the outdoors.
We look forward to welcoming you on the day.
