Learn about pruning a variety of small trees and shrubs, to keep them healthy and productive. Pruning can sometimes seem overly complicated, so the aim of the day is to discuss the main principles and boost confidence levels.
What we will cover:
  • How, when and why to cut a variety of shrubs and small trees;
  • Practical examples and demonstrations in the gardens;
  • Types of tools, how to clean, sharpen and maintain them;
  • How to dispose of prunings in the most environmentally sound way.
Course level: Beginner/intermediate
What you need to bring: Secateurs & gloves if you have them. Outdoor clothing.
