The Raymond Blanc Gardening School at Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons is the first of its kind in the UK. Inspired by a deep joy and curiosity for the wonders of nature, this school promises to combine the passion the whole team at Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons share for the love of gardening, with the desire to pass on best kept secrets to guests.
Whether you’re a green-fingered professional or a greenhorn beginner, we have insider tips and expert advice to help your garden bloom this autumn. Learn the secrets of our world-class gardens and take home our advice, ideas and inspiration for your own vegetable plot or allotment. Your interactive tuition will take you through some of Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons’ 11 enchanting gardens and orchards. Discover the tranquillity of the Japanese tea garden of Fugetsu-An, or explore our Mushroom Valley project.
This Autumn, the core courses will be led by head gardener Anne Marie and her team, each of whom have a specialist interests. Courses include Grow Your own Autumn Vegetables, Exploring the Myths of Pruning, with Will Sibley, Grow your own Mushrooms, with Espresso Mushroom Company and Micro Herbs and Edible Flowers (half-day 9am - 12.45pm).
Your base for the day will be the Hartley Botanic glasshouse, where you’ll be treated to a delicious working lunch.
