Summer in your organic garden is the second of a new series of three seasonal growing courses.

This half day course will give you an overview of what to do in Summer, including: keeping on top of your weeds, organic lawn care, when to water, composting in summer, sourcing green manures, keeping your soft fruits safe, common pests and diseases to look out for and wildlife needs.

This is an ideal course for anyone who is new to growing that needs guidance of what to do at this time of year. It will also provide useful tips for experienced gardeners who are looking to move to more sustainable growing.

What we will cover:
  • Gain an overview of the principles of organic growing
  • Focus on Summer and what you need to do in the garden now
  • Top tips for planning ahead to the Autumn/Winter
  • Improve your practical skills and take something home.
Course Level: Beginner
