7:00pm to 9:00pm

This talk, hosted by Avon Organic Group (AOG) is being given by John Lucas. As well as being chair of AOG for many years, Jon was on the management committee of HDRA for 10 years, which has since become Garden Organic.

As a member of HDRA for over 40 years, he has watched its evolution from Lawrence D. Hills’ back garden in Bocking to the Centre for Organic Gardening at Ryton, and has always admired the huge range of work it has managed to cover in that time, from experimenting with many facets of organic growing here to supporting innovative growing techniques all around the world.

This is a chance to hear more about this hugely impressive organisation that grew from such small roots.

Please note, member and non-member pricing refers to membership of Avon Organic Group not Garden Organic.
