Wildlife Gardeners' Day
WWT London Wetland Centre, Barnes, SW13 9WT.
Saturday, 19 May 2018 -
10:00am to 4:00pm
Anyone with an interest in wildlife gardening is invited to a special day at the iconic London Wetland Centre on Saturday 19 May from 10.00am to 4pm. The event is being organised by The Wildlife Gardening Forum in partnership with the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT).
The day will include inspiring talks from well-known experts including authors and broadcasters Chris Baines, Kate Bradbury and Adrian Thomas, plus 15 specialists giving masterclasses in helping garden wildlife. There will be an outdoor fair with lots of stands from wildlife charities, plant suppliers and other businesses.
The Forum's Dr Steve Head, who is helping organise the day, said, "Interest in wildlife gardening has blossomed in recent years, and we find that what gardeners want is information and inspiration on how to make the biggest impact for nature. This day should provide it in spades!"
Entry to the talks and workshops programme is by booking only at Wildlife Gardening Forum, however other visitors to London Wetland Centre that day will be able to enjoy the outdoor fair as well as the fabulous nature reserve.
