Garth Hillside Organic Garden meet fifty a year on a monthly and quarterly basis throughout summer and winter.

Garth Hillside Organic Garden began in 2007 as part of Garden Organics social programme "Offa" (organic food for all).
Using Organic principles and Permaculture Design, this community food project in the beautiful Ceiriog Valley is a physical, spiritual and emotional response to climate change, sustainability, and the problems facing the natural world.
They provide a learning space for a variety of land based subjects, but at the core of everything they do is to encourage people to grow organic food. They also have a small box scheme, and supply their local Spar shop. The garden is at 1,000ft, south east facing, and has been terraced with the contours of the hillside.
Garth Hillside is open every Thursday throughout the year from 10.30am - 4pm (the kettle is always on and they enjoy a shared lunch)
They warmly welcome new volunteers and visitors. Volunteers get to take home a share of the harvest. Please contact Garth Hillside for specific directions to the garden.
