Indeterminate. Cordon. The donor of this variety writes “This variety was THE variety grown all over Jersey, times past. I obtained the seed originally from a local grower. People here say the flavour is good; it is. Can be grown indoors and out. Don't let fruits become too ripe before picking as they seem to split easily.” Seed Guardian Jackie Newey approved of this variety, “Raw, they are mouth-wateringly juicy (like mini melons) with distinctive flavour. Excellent for stews and stir fries (especially sweet and sour) and such a tasty, prolific cropper you'll have trouble keeping up!”
