Information for beginners

Tregarth Community Allotments/Rhandiroedd Cymunedol Tregarth consists of about 60 plots occupying two formerly pasture fields on the edge of the Ogwen Valley, near Bethesda, Gwynedd. We are a registered Community Interest Company (CIC), run by volunteers. After some years of rent payments and grant funding we have been able to purchase our two fields outright. The fields lie on stony glacial deposits with well drained soils, able to grow a full range of crops, all grown according to organic principles. We have a communal polytunnel and a few high raised beds and microplots accessible for less able gardeners.
