Brejo

A Native American heirloom variety producing vigorous vines (up to 2.5 metres) with lilac flowers followed by a generous crop of flat, straight, stringless green pods which develop red mottling when mature. Our donor found that this variety does well in wet springs, which may prove useful in the UK! A heavy cropping variety producing pods in abundance. Seed colour creamish with black mottling.
