Pea

Early Capucijner

Although it is usually thought that 'capucijner' peas were bred by Capucan monks in the Netherlands during the Middle Ages, most were actually developed by Dutch seedsmen at a much later time. Reaching up to 1.8m, this variety produces beautiful bicoloured pink and rich magenta flowers followed by straight, plump pods containing 4-6 peas.
