Georgia Candy Roaster

(C. maxima) Thought to have originated in the Appalachian Mountains, this productive banana-type squash is perfect for roasting and pie making. Produces rampant vines and large, long fruits weighing anything up to 25kg. Expect a little variation in shape, and in the thin, pinkish orange skin; the key feature is the delicious, smooth, orange flesh.
