Carbon Gold was founded by Craig Sams, founder of Green & Blacks in 2007. Our biochar enriched products are 100% chemical and peat-free and are FSC Certified and Soil Association Approved although are commonly used by both conventional as well as organic growers. Biochar is a very pure, high carbon form of charcoal that improves the structure, aeration, water-holding capacity and nutrient retention of soils and substrates while providing permanent refuge for beneficial microbiology. Carbon Gold’s biochar is enriched with fungi, trace minerals and beneficial bacteria and proven to boost the health and vitality of plants and crops in scientific and commercial trials.

Using Carbon Gold Biochar in your garden is not only beneficial to your soil health but also to the environment. 1kgs of biochar in the ground is equivalent of 3kgs of carbon dioxide permanently sequestered from the atmosphere. Carbon Gold - Saving the planet one garden at a time!

Bore Da! (hello in welsh) from Rebecca and Quentin at Conscious Skincare. We've been designing, creating and making all our multi award-winning organic products from our rural retreat on the beautiful west coast of Wales since 2011. The land and seascape here inspire us to craft our unique and natural blends, drawing from the incredible materials nature gives us, with the latest understanding of their hidden benefits, whilst leaving out the not-so-desirable ingredients such as colour or fragrance that your skin really doesn’t need.

Our respect for nature is reflected in what we do and our range is vegan, palm oil-free and endorsed by Ethical Consumer magazine which goes to prove we actually do what we say!
We support charities and a fair-trade co-operative in India, helping women to escape the poverty trap. These wonderful individuals handmake our organic fair-trade cotton branded bags. We package products in recyclable glass and aluminium. And we wrap your products carefully, with love and care in recycled packaging.

Dalefoot Composts are delighted to be teaming up with Garden Organic in 2022. As early pioneers in the peat-free marketplace, Dalefoot Composts have over 20 years experience of producing premium compost.

Made in the Lake District National Park with a British supply chain, our composts contain sheep's wool, bracken and comfrey, all certified for organic growing with the Soil Association.  These down to earth ingredients are rich in slow-release nitrogen, potash and trace elements and minerals. So much so, that all our composts are 'no need to feed', Dalefoot Composts do it for you - saving you time and money not having to apply feed during the season.

The company, set up by the hill farming duo Professor Jane Barker and Simon Bland has gone from strength to strength - from the days of selling out of bags at Tebay Farmers Market, to nowadays supplying compost to gold-winning growers at Chelsea Flower Show.

In spite of their success,  Jane and Simon always stay true to their original idea of wholesome ingredients, organic practice and are pleased to continue the tradition of using comfrey, much-lauded by Garden Organic Founder, Lawrence Hills in their award-winning composts.
