Composting for successful organic growing

Home composting has always been a no brainer. Each home compost bin saves 125 kg of waste from being transported away and instead turns it into a great free product that benefits the environment, your soil, your garden, and everything you grow.

However, there is a bit more to it than just throwing it all on a heap and hoping it will make lovely compost. Our webinar will show you how the composting process works, and reveal the various influencing factors to be aware of to gain a better degree of control and confidence in your composting. So, if you’re keen to get started with composting, get a better idea of how it all works, or fine-tune your existing processes, this is the webinar for you.

Topics covered:

  • Successful composting including what and how to compost
  • Demonstration of different bin types and composting systems
  • Recognising the biological life involved in producing compost in your bin
  • How to deal with problem compost heaps
  • A basic knowledge of how to use compost in the garden

Skill level: Beginner

Course leader: Anton Rosenfeld.
