You’ll gain a detailed understanding of the benefits of saving seed and how to select plants for particular characteristics, as well as step by step instructions on saving seeds.
This half-day course is the perfect follow on from our ‘Introduction to Seed Saving’ course, or is ideal for those with some experience of saving seed from vegetables, who are looking to further their skills.
Get into the festive spirit and have fun using materials from our gardens to make natural decorations. You will be shown how to weave your own willow wreath that you can then decorate with items from the gardens, and learn how to identify suitable materials in your own garden and elsewhere for use in decorations.
