Taking the stage at Gardeners’ World Live
We're delighted to be hosting a 'Grow Your Own' stage at BBC Gardeners' World Live this summer at Birmingham NEC - with a fantastic line-up of gardeners, growers and foodies to help you get the most from your edible space.
Join us to hear from some of the UK's top organic food growing gurus. Sharing their passion and knowledge will be experts including herb-growing pro Jekka McVicar; BBC Gardeners’ World presenters Rekha Mistry, Sue Kent and Ashley Edwards; urban allotmenteers Chris Collins and De Graft Mensah, plus August Beth and Michael John – gardening and cooking experts from the Raymond Blanc cookery and gardening schools. You'll also be able to hear from our own experts, including the team behind the Heritage Seed Library and The Organic Gardening Podcast regulars, Chris Collins, Anton Rosenfeld and Fiona Taylor.
We're also excited to be launching a daily 'Big Seed Search Live' - where you can bring your interesting vegetable seeds for our Heritage Seed Library team to check out, and listen to talks about the important stories behind heritage seeds. This is part of our two-year Sowing Your Seeds project (#SeedSearch), funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, and thanks to players of the National Lottery.
From sowing and plant care, through to saving your own seeds for next year, Garden Organic and friends will be providing inspiration and advice for beginners and experienced growers alike.

The stage will be hosted by former Blue Peter Gardener, Chris Collins. Chris currently lives in north London and is an expert urban organic gardener tending his own high-rise balcony and allotment.
Joining Chris will be Garden Organic CEO, Fiona Taylor. Fiona is a passionate organic gardener, specialising in organic herbs. Early in her career she worked as a broadcast journalist and producer at the BBC before moving into communications and marketing roles.
