Indeterminate. Cordon. Our donor acquired these seeds from an elderly lady who had been given them many years previously at an RHS seminar. The person delivering the talk was American, and it was assumed that the variety was of American origin. The red fruits are thin-skinned, sweet, knobbly and almost heart-shaped. Why we save Queen of Hearts Tomato 🔗
Our donor passed these seeds to the Heritage Seed Library to make sure they weren't lost after the original elderly grower could no longer garden. Believed to be an American commercial variety in origin but we are the only gene bank in Europe to conserve this seed. A very versatile tomato that works well both raw and cooked.
