The composting area is compact but well used and well maintained and hosts a wide range of composting bins and systems.

The park is popular and has many local visitors and the walled garden and compost demonstration area often hosts group visits from local schools during the summer terms, where the visiting children have the opportunity to learn about the composting process and the many benefits of composting.
