Serpentine Community Garden Society CIO is a charity focused on practical horticulture, with the main objectives as follows:
1) To restore the area to a functioning market garden, producing fruit, herbs and vegetables for sale in local venues, plus a share for volunteers;
2) to evolve into a training and teaching centre involved in experimental, demonstration and horticultural projects;
3) to involve the wider community in using the site to its best potential.

Opening Times
The Community Garden is open to volunteers and to drop-in visitors on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Bookable courses use the space on Mondays currently. Volunteer places need to be arranged in advance.
Larger group visits during working hours may be arranged in advance. We can also offer use of our space and facilities to organised groups on a regular basis (for example for after-school activities) by special arrangement.
