Key elements of the landscape created by Henrietta Howard around her early 18th century neo-palladian villa have been restored in recent years, reinstating the all-but-lost design and opening up previously inaccessible woodland areas. The avenues of trees from the house to the river have been replanted, recreating the view that Henrietta and her guests would have enjoyed. Highlights include the Flower Garden, Grotto Garden, Wilderness, Orchard, and Ice House Quarter.

Across the wider park, the planting of trees, flowers and shrubs has improved biodiversity and newly established wildflower meadows are encouraging wildlife such as grasshoppers and butterflies. The small Community Kitchen Garden grows a variety of produce and cut flowers and eight plots are maintained by local residents.
The garden team at Marble Hill are committed to sustainable horticultural practices and are working with members of the wider site team and volunteers to support environmentally and socially sustainable practices.
